With optical write-once tape your data is safe for years and each twelve inch reel holds a massive 1,000 gigabyte (yes, gigabytes). A single tape could hold 16 million files each 60K bytes in length.

And if you were wise enough to write your data with KOM's OptiTape® product you could position your tape directly to any one of those file in just seconds.

But the truly amazing thing about OptiTape® is that it doesn't use any disk storage. So you can dismount your tape at any time and put it in the safe, or transport it to a new location.
